My Method

BREATH

A woman with a blue headscarf and glasses practicing a yoga pose outdoors on fallen autumn leaves, while a man with a bald head and a beard, wearing a black hoodie and brown pants, kneels in front of her giving guidance or encouragement.

Breath, If you can’t take a deep breath, you may be trying to run before learning to walk. Breathing efficiently is the most fundamental movement that is often overlooked especially in the fitness world. We must get your body in a place of true adaptability before moving into anything else. The breath regulates the nervous system and gives us the ability to manage stress both mental and physical.

Balance

A woman and a man playing and having fun in a park, with dry leaves on the ground and trees in the background.

Second in my hierarchy is Balance both mental & physical. Balance allows for everything that is built to be working off a solid foundation, imagine building a house on a toothpick vs. building your house on a large frame foundation. My aim is to give you a base that is stable, stronger and will last.

Discomfort

A man and woman practicing boxing with protective gear in an indoor gym. The man is holding red focus mitts, and the woman is wearing white boxing gloves, mid-punch. The man has a large black and red punch shield hanging from his neck and wears red boxing gloves on his hands.

Third would be applying Discomfort this will be different based off the individual, for some this will be strength training, for others this will mean focused isometrics and for others still it might mean dynamics like running, jumping or agility exercises. Discomfort is about creating a managble amount of stress for the system to get more adaptable, robust and strong.
